Caramel Sauce

Method

Preparation

1

Make the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients. Mix in eggs and vanilla until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

2

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and Jack Daniels. Mix well.

3

Roll Out the Dough

After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the filling evenly on top.

4

Form the Rolls

Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish.

5

Make the Caramel Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar and butter. Stir until melted and bubbly, then add heavy cream and Jack Daniels. Cook until smooth.

6

Bake the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour caramel sauce over the rolls. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

7

Serve

Let rolls cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.
