Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack 3 eggs and add milk, salt, and black pepper. Whisk them together until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare Veggies

Dice the bell pepper and onion into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Cook the Omelet

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil or butter. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to set.

  4. 4

    Add Fillings

Sprinkle the cheese, diced bell pepper, and onion on one half of the omelet. Fold the other half over the fillings and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

  5. 5

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate and keep warm.

Hash Brown Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook Hash Browns

In another skillet, heat cooking oil over medium heat. Add the frozen hash browns and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  2. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat and keep warm.

Toast Preparation

  1. 8

    Toast the Bread

While the omelet and hash browns are cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.

  2. 9

    Add Butter and Jelly

Spread butter on the warm toast and serve with jelly on the side.

Optional Pancake Preparation

  1. 10

    Mix Pancake Batter

In a bowl, combine pancake mix with water and stir until smooth.

  2. 11

    Cook Pancakes

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of cooking oil. Pour batter onto the skillet to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

  3. 12

    Serve

Serve pancakes warm with syrup or butter if desired.
