Mushrooms

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Gently clean the Portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and finely chop the stems.

Making the Stuffing

  1. 3

Sauté the Garlic and Mushroom Stems

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant and the stems are softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  2. 4

    Mix the Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed garlic and mushroom stems with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 5

    Fill the Mushroom Caps

Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil inside the mushroom caps. Generously fill each cap with the stuffing mixture, pressing down slightly to pack it in.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
