Preparing the Batter

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Cooking the Pancakes

Heat the Pan
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with a bit of butter or cooking spray.

Pour the Batter
For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot skillet.

Cook the Pancakes
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges appear set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Repeat
Continue this process with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet as necessary.
Serving

Serve Hot
Stack the pancakes on a plate, add a dollop of whipped butter on top, and drizzle with warm maple syrup before serving.
