Method
Preparation of Pork Tenderloin
- 1
Trim and Marinate
Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, paprika, cayenne pepper, honey, and soy sauce. Stir until well mixed. Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the meat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Cooking the Pork Tenderloin
- 2
Preheat and Sear
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a little olive oil. Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade and sear it in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it's browned.
- 3
Roasting
Once the pork is seared, transfer it to a baking dish and pour any remaining marinade over the top. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 63°C (145°F).
- 4
Rest and Serve
Remove the pork tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute. Slice the tenderloin and serve hot.
