Waffle Batter Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, using enough to cover the surface without overflowing. Close the lid and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.

Carefully remove the waffles and keep them warm in an oven set to low heat while you cook the remaining batter.
