Waffle Preparation

Prepare the Waffle Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.

Preheat the Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Cook the Waffles
Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle iron, close the lid, and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. This usually takes about 4-5 minutes.

Whip the Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream. Use an electric mixer to beat the cream on medium speed until it starts to thicken.

Add Sugar and Vanilla
Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract while continuing to beat the cream until stiff peaks form. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
Serving

Serve the Waffles
Place the cooked waffles on a plate and top with a dollop of whipped cream. Optionally, add more fresh blueberries on top for garnish.
