Meatballs
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form and Bake
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- 3
Prepare the Marinara
While the meatballs are baking, heat up your favorite marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 4
Assemble the Subs
Once the meatballs are done, place them in a hoagie bun, cover with marinara sauce, and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 5
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled subs under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
