Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork. Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.

Add the Pecans

Fold in the chopped pecans into the filling mixture.

Pour the pecan filling into the pre-baked pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
