Method

Pork Chop Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork Chops

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat the pork chops in the mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chops

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated pork chops for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from the grill and let rest.

Braised Rapini Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Rapini

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the rapini and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  2. 4

    Braised the Rapini

Add vegetable broth and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until the rapini is tender.

Mac and Cheese Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Macaroni

Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking until the mixture is smooth. Stir in cheddar and fontina cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 7

    Combine and Bake

Mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Transfer to a baking dish, top with bread crumbs, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Sauce Robert Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine minced shallots and white wine. Simmer until reduced by half.

  2. 9

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in Dijon mustard and chicken stock. Simmer until thickened. Whisk in butter until melted and smooth.
