Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, fish sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, chili paste, and sesame oil until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the pork spare ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are nicely charred and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the ribs with the reserved marinade to glaze them.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the ribs and serve garnished with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
