Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Squid
In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced squid and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until just cooked. Remove the squid and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Add the sliced onions and sauté until translucent, about 2 minutes. Then, add the bell peppers, carrots, and cabbage. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili paste, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir until well combined.
- 4
Combine and Serve
Return the cooked squid to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and add the chopped basil. Stir-fry everything together for another 2 minutes until heated through and well combined. Serve hot.
