Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 1

    Slice the Vegetables

Thinly slice the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Cooking the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté the Onions

Add the sliced onion to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to become translucent.

  2. 4

    Add the Garlic and Peppers

Stir in the minced garlic and sliced bell pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the peppers are soft.

  3. 5

    Add the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender.

Finishing Touches

  1. 6

    Add Swiss Cheese

Reduce heat to low, and evenly distribute the Swiss cheese over the sautéed vegetables. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

  2. 7

    Serve

Once the cheese is melted, remove from heat and serve the Swiss sauté warm.
