Seasoning & Cooking

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Begin by preparing your ingredients. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

  2. 2

Slice the onion and bell pepper, and slice the mushrooms. Mince the garlic.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for about 5-6 minutes until they begin to soften.

  2. 4

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until all vegetables are tender. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook the Sirloin Tips

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cubed sirloin steak. Season with salt and black pepper.

  4. 6

Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides but not fully cooked through.

  5. 7

Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.

  6. 8

Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet and mix well to combine everything. Cook for another minute to heat through.

Serving

  1. 9

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

  2. 10

Serve the sautéed sirloin tips with onions, peppers, and mushrooms over rice or with crusty bread, as desired.
