Method

Preparing the Prawns

  1. 1

    Boil the Prawns

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the peeled and deveined prawns and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and set aside to cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare Smoked Prawns

If using smoked prawns, ensure they are already peeled and deveined. Set aside.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. 4

    Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.

Assembling the Cocktail

  1. 5

    Layer Ingredients

On a serving platter or in individual glasses, place a layer of lettuce leaves at the bottom. Top with a mixture of boiled prawns and smoked prawns.

  2. 6

    Add Sauce

Spoon the prepared sauce generously over the prawns, ensuring they are well-coated.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh dill. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
