Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare the Spinach

Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach under cold running water. Remove any tough stems and chop the leaves roughly. Place in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Halve the Cherry Tomatoes

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Add them to the bowl with spinach.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Black Olives

If using whole black olives, slice them in half. If using pitted, simply chop them if preferred. Add the black olives to the mixing bowl.

  4. 4

    Crumble the Feta Cheese

Using your fingers or a fork, crumble the feta cheese into small pieces and add it to the bowl.

Dressing

  1. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 6

    Combine the Salad

Pour the dressing over the spinach, tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese. Gently toss all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Salad

Transfer the salad to individual serving plates or a large serving bowl. Optionally, garnish with additional feta cheese or olives.

  2. 8
