Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Tenders

Cook the chicken tenders by either broiling, frying, or tossing them in buffalo sauce as per your preference. Once cooked, slice them into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease. Once cooled, crumble into pieces.

  3. 3

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 9-12 minutes. Once done, place in cold water, peel, and slice into quarters.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce, slice the cherry tomatoes in half, and peel and slice the cucumber and avocado.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 5

    Combine the Salad Base

In a large salad bowl, start by adding the chopped romaine lettuce as the base.

  2. 6

    Add the Vegetables

Layer the sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado on top of the lettuce.

  3. 7

    Add Proteins

Evenly distribute the cooked chicken tenders, crumbled bacon, and sliced eggs over the salad.

  4. 8

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the salad.

  5. 9

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.

  6. 10

    Serve

Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving and toss lightly to combine all ingredients.
