Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the onion and bell peppers into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ham and Cheese

Cut the ham into bite-sized pieces and shred the provolone cheese if not already shredded.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are soft and starting to caramelize.

  2. 4

    Add Ham

Add the bite-sized pieces of ham to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir in the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Once the ham and vegetables are cooked, remove the skillet from heat. In an oven-safe dish, layer the ham and vegetable mixture, then top with salsa and a generous amount of shredded provolone cheese.

  4. 6

    Bake

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the assembled dish in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Hot

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Coach House dish warm!
