Chicken Wings

Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure a crispy texture for the wings.

  2. 2

    Dry the wings

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  3. 3

    Coat the wings

In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Arrange on baking sheet

Place the coated wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Bake the wings

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Melt the butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 7

    Combine the sauce ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the butter. Stir until well combined and heated through.

Tossing the Wings

  1. 8

    Toss wings in sauce

Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the prepared buffalo sauce over them. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve with dipping sauce

Serve the buffalo wings hot with a side of ranch or bleu cheese dressing for dipping.
