Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Seafood

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Haddock

Place the haddock fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Ensure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Scallops

In another shallow dish, place the scallops and pour the remaining marinade over them. Again, make sure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat the Broiler

Preheat your broiler to high. Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

  2. 5

    Broil the Haddock

Remove the haddock from the marinade and place them on one side of the broiler pan. Broil for about 5-7 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 6

    Broil the Scallops

While the haddock is broiling, remove the scallops from the marinade and place them on the other side of the broiler pan. Broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until they are opaque and slightly golden.

  4. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the broiler pan from the oven. Serve the broiled haddock and scallops on a platter, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
