Begin by ensuring your coffee maker is clean and ready to use. If using a French press, make sure it is also clean.

Prepare Coffee Maker

Measure 0.5 cups of ground coffee using a measuring cup. Adjust the amount based on how strong you prefer your coffee.

In a kettle or on the stove, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Boil Water

Once the water has boiled, pour it over the ground coffee in the coffee maker or French press. If using a coffee maker, follow the manufacturer's instructions for this step.

Combine Coffee and Water

Allow the coffee to brew for about 4-5 minutes. If using a French press, let it steep for 4 minutes before pressing the plunger down.

Pour the brewed coffee into a mug or cup. If desired, add sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract according to your taste.

In a large mash tun, combine the pale malt, caramel malt, and flaked barley with 4 liters of water. Heat the mixture to 153°F (67°C) and maintain this temperature for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After mashing, sparge the grains with an additional liter of hot water to extract the sugars. Collect the liquid (wort) in a brew kettle.

Bring the wort to a boil and add the Northern Brewer hops. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 60 minutes, remove from heat.

Boil

Cool the wort quickly to around 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller or ice bath. Once cooled, transfer to a fermentation vessel and add the Irish ale yeast. Seal with an airlock.

Cool and Ferment

Allow the beer to ferment for about 2 weeks at a consistent temperature (around 68°F or 20°C).

Condition

After fermentation, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of boiled water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap securely.

Bottle

Store the bottles in a dark place at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks to allow carbonation.

Once carbonated, chill the bottles in the refrigerator before serving.

Take a clean pint glass and if desired, garnish with a lemon wedge and mint leaves for a refreshing touch.

Clean and sanitize all brewing equipment including fermenters, airlocks, and bottles.

Prepare the Equipment

In a large brew kettle, heat 6 gallons of water to approximately 165°F (74°C).

Heat the Water

Add the Pale Malt, Roasted Barley, Crystal Malt, and Chocolate Malt to the hot water. Stir well and maintain a temperature of 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes.

Mash the Grains

After mashing, remove the grains and bring the liquid (wort) to a boil.

Boil the Wort

Once boiling, add 1 oz of Bittering Hops and boil for an additional 60 minutes.

5 minutes before the end of the boil, add 0.5 oz of Aroma Hops.

Cool the wort rapidly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches about 70°F (21°C).

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter.

Sprinkle the packet of yeast on top of the wort. Add the coarsely ground coffee and stir gently.

Clean and sanitize beer bottles and caps.

Dissolve 3 oz of priming sugar in 2 cups of water and add to the fermenter. Stir gently to mix.

Once the water is heated, add the Pale Malt, Crystal Malt, and Chocolate Malt to the water. Stir well to ensure there are no dry clumps.

Maintain the mash temperature at around 152°F (67°C) for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

After the mash, sparge the grains with hot water (around 170°F or 77°C) to extract the sugars, collecting the wort in a kettle.

Bring the collected wort to a boil and add the bittering hops. Boil for 60 minutes.

With 15 minutes remaining in the boil, add the aroma hops.

After the boil, cool the wort quickly to around 68°F (20°C) using a wort chiller or an ice bath.

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel.

Sprinkle the ale yeast over the surface of the cooled wort and seal the fermenter.

Allow the beer to ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature, until fermentation activity has ceased.

Sanitize your bottles and caps in preparation for bottling.

Dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of boiling water and add it to the bottling bucket.

Transfer the beer into the bottles, leaving about an inch of headspace at the top.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is at the right temperature when you are ready to bake.

Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with a bit of melted Irish butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a large brew kettle, heat 6 liters of water to around 165°F (73°C). Add 5 cups of Pale Malt and 1 cup of Crystal Malt. Stir well to ensure all grains are submerged.

Prepare the Mash

Maintain the temperature at 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even extraction of sugars.

Steep the Grains

After steeping, raise the temperature to boiling. Once boiling, add 1 oz of Cascade Hops and boil for 60 minutes.

With 15 minutes left in the boil, add 0.5 oz of Centennial Hops to the wort.

After the boil, cool the wort rapidly to 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller or an ice bath.

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter. Add the packet of American Ale Yeast and gently stir to aerate.

Seal the fermenter with an airlock and let it ferment at a consistent temperature of 68°F (20°C) for 1-2 weeks.

After fermentation is complete, dissolve 3 oz of corn sugar in 2 cups of boiling water. Cool and add to the fermenter before bottling.

Fill sanitized bottles with the beer and cap them. Store at room temperature for at least 2 weeks to carbonate.

Cut the fresh watermelon into bite-sized cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl. Peel the cucumber, then slice it in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the cucumber into half-moon slices and add it to the bowl with the watermelon.

Crumble the feta cheese into the bowl with the watermelon and cucumber. Gently mix the ingredients to combine without mashing the feta.
