Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy. This should take about 6-8 minutes. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess grease.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

While the bacon is cooking, toast the slices of white bread until golden brown. You can do this in a toaster or on a skillet.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomato

Wash the tomato and slice it into thin slices. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Spread the Mayonnaise

Take three slices of the toasted bread and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

On the first slice of bread with mayonnaise, layer half of the turkey breast evenly. Top with two slices of bacon, two lettuce leaves, and a few slices of tomato.

  2. 7

    Add Second Layer

Place a second slice of mayonnaise-spread bread on top of the first layer. Repeat the layering process with the remaining turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

  3. 8

    Top It Off

Finally, place the third slice of bread (mayonnaise side down) on top of the second layer to complete the sandwich.

Serving

  1. 9

    Cut and Serve

Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters for easier serving. Serve immediately with chips or a pickle on the side.
