Method

Chicken Nuggets

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first bowl, whisk the eggs in the second bowl, and place the breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Take each piece of chicken, coat it in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each piece is well-coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Nuggets

Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches. Fry them for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Chips

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble chips.

  2. 7

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry.

  3. 8

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  4. 9

    Fry the Chips

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry them for about 4-6 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate, then sprinkle with salt to taste.
