Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This will help them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steaks

Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel. Generously season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steaks

Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with a towel. Carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season immediately with salt.

Garlic Butter

  1. 6

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned, about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 7

    Finish the Garlic Butter

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
