Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any damaged leaves and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Add Croutons and Cheese
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and grated parmesan cheese. Toss gently to combine.

Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, mash the garlic clove with the anchovy paste, dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Add the lemon juice and whisk until combined.

Emulsify the Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is well combined and emulsified. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently until all ingredients are coated with the dressing.
