Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then shape into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet or grill to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on a separate skillet until golden brown.

Toppings Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash the lettuce leaves and slice the tomato into thick rounds.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked beef patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 7

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 8

    Season and Bake

In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt. Spread them out on a baking sheet.

  3. 9

    Bake the Fries

Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
