Serving Ingredients

Method

Preparation of the Base

  1. 1

    Mix the Base Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the goat cheese and cream cheese. Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 2

    Add Heavy Cream

Slowly add the heavy cream to the cheese mixture, mixing until fully incorporated and the mixture is light and airy.

  3. 3

    Season the Mixture

Add the chopped fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.

Layering the Terrine

  1. 4

    Prepare the Terrine Dish

Line a terrine mold or a loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving enough overhang to cover the top later.

  2. 5

    Add the First Layer

Spoon half of the goat cheese mixture into the prepared mold, smoothing it out evenly.

  3. 6

    Layer with Vegetables

Add a layer of chopped roasted red peppers over the goat cheese mixture, spreading them evenly.

  4. 7

    Add the Second Layer

Spread the remaining goat cheese mixture on top of the roasted red peppers, smoothing it out.

  5. 8

    Final Layer

Top with the chopped olives and walnuts, pressing them slightly into the cheese mixture.

Chilling the Terrine

  1. 9

    Cover and Chill

Fold the plastic wrap over the top of the terrine and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Serving the Terrine

  1. 10

    Unmold and Slice

Once chilled, carefully lift the terrine out of the mold using the plastic wrap. Slice the terrine into even pieces.

  2. 11

    Serve with Accompaniments

Arrange the slices on a serving platter and serve with crackers or baguette slices, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
