Dough and Filling

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and water. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Ravioli

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.

  4. 4

    Steam the Ravioli

Place the ravioli in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for about 10-12 minutes until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Pan-Fry the Ravioli (optional)

For pan-fried ravioli, heat a pan with a little oil over medium heat. Add the steamed ravioli and fry until golden brown on both sides.
