Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili paste, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the pork spare ribs in a large zip-top bag or a dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the ribs on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, basting with the leftover marinade, until the ribs are nicely glazed and caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
