Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and chop all vegetables and set aside. Ensure shrimp is peeled and deveined.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

3

Sauté Aromatics

Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the oil, sautéing until fragrant and the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

4

Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the pan, cooking them until pink and opaque, around 3-5 minutes.

5

Add Vegetables

Stir in the bell peppers, cabbage, and carrots. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

6

Season the Dish

Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring well to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

7

Finish with Basil

Remove the pan from heat and fold in the fresh basil leaves until just wilted.

8

Serve

Serve hot over rice or noodles if desired.
