Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice all vegetables: bell peppers, cabbage, carrots, and onion. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic and sliced onions, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Then add bell peppers, cabbage, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until vegetables are just tender.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

  5. 5

    Add Basil

Just before serving, add fresh basil leaves to the skillet. Stir until wilted and well combined.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
