Prepare the Edamame
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the edamame pods and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked edamame to the skillet. Sprinkle the Tōgarashi and soy sauce over the edamame. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Season and Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
