Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cedar Plank

Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour before grilling.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim the broccolini and slice the carrots into thin rounds. Peel and halve the cipollini onions.

  3. 3

    Season the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  5. 5

    Cook the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the broccolini, carrots, and cipollini onions for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and set aside.

  6. 6

    Grill the Salmon

Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill for a few minutes until it starts to smoke. Place the salmon fillets on the plank skin-side down. Close the grill lid and cook for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.

  7. 7

    Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Cook for another minute and remove from heat.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve the grilled salmon on a plate with the sautéed vegetables on the side. Drizzle with the lemon butter sauce.
