Prepare the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Make the Muffin Batter
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and applesauce. Mix until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix Together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Prepare Streusel Topping
In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans, gluten-free flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Melt the butter and mix it into the dry ingredients until crumbly.

Fill Muffin Tin
Divide the muffin batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle the pecan streusel topping over each muffin.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
