Spring Roll Ingredients

Method

Cooking the Chicken

  1. 1

    Sauté the Chicken

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breast and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Vegetables

Add the minced ginger, chopped bell pepper, and sliced red chili to the pan. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  3. 3

    Season

Pour in the soy sauce and add the fresh basil leaves. Stir well to combine and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.

Making Spring Rolls

  1. 4

    Prepare Filling

In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well.

  2. 5

    Wrap Spring Rolls

Take a spring roll wrapper, place some of the filling at one edge, and roll it tightly. Seal the edges with a bit of water. Repeat for all wrappers.

  3. 6

    Fry Spring Rolls

In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil for frying. Once hot, fry the spring rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the stir-fried chicken with a side of cooked rice and deep-fried spring rolls. Enjoy!
