Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined but be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Shape the crab mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.
- 4
Fry the Crab Cakes
Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Serve
Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Top each crab cake with a dollop of sour cream and serve warm.
