Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Fried Chicken

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Dip chicken thighs into buttermilk, then coat in flour mixture. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

2

Slice the Brisket

Smoke or slow-cook the brisket until tender, then slice it thinly against the grain.

3

Grill or pan-fry the Texas style hot links until browned and heated through.

4

Prepare the Fried Pork Belly

Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces and fry in a hot skillet until crispy and golden.

5

Fry the Pickles

Dip pickle slices into the leftover buttermilk, then coat in flour and fry in hot oil until crispy.

6

Assemble the Difibrillator

On a serving platter, layer the fried chicken, sliced brisket, hot links, crispy pork belly, and fried pickles. Top with pimento cheese and drizzle with hot honey.
