Prepare the Soda Float
In a tall glass, pour the bottled soda until it is about halfway full.
Add Ice Cream
Carefully add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the soda. The foam will rise, so be prepared for some overflow!
Add Toppings
Top with whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, and drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream as desired.
Serve Immediately
Serve with a straw and a long spoon to enjoy your soda float while it's frothy and cold.
