Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Combine Marinade Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Marinate Chicken
Place the boneless skinless chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours for best flavor.
Grilling Chicken
- 3
Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F or 190°C to 230°C).
- 4
Grill Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
- 5
Rest Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest on a plate for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
