Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Bread the Chicken
In a shallow dish, add the flour. Remove the chicken from the marinade and allow excess liquid to drip off. Dredge the chicken in flour until fully coated.

Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Sandwich
On each bulkie roll, spread a generous amount of the diablo sauce. Place the fried chicken on the roll, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, and a slice of American cheese.

Close the sandwich and serve immediately with your favorite side.
