Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Make the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring no lumps form. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens. Add in the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 3
Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Mix thoroughly until the pasta is well coated.
- 4
Prepare for Baking
Transfer the macaroni and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and olive oil. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the macaroni.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, add spicy grilled chicken, pulled pork, or taco beef for an additional $5.
