Fried Chicken Tenders
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into tenders. In a bowl, soak the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
In another bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each tender in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the chicken tenders to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
