Prep the Tuna
Start by slicing the ahi tuna fillet into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Prepare the Sesame Seed Coating
In a shallow dish, mix the black and white sesame seeds together.

Coat the Tuna
Brush each slice of tuna with sesame oil, then press both sides of each slice into the sesame seed mixture to coat evenly.

Sear the Tuna
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a little sesame oil. Sear the tuna slices for about 30 seconds on each side for a rare finish.

Serve
Arrange the seared tuna on a plate, serve with soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, and lime wedges. Garnish with microgreens or seaweed.
