Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 2 minutes until lightly browned. Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Cheeses

Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar, Gruyère, Fontina, Parmesan, and cream cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.

  5. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese to a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs and the Alaskan king crab meat.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your King Crab Mac & Cheese!
