Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover them tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.

  6. 6

    Glaze the Ribs

After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the ribs.

  7. 7

    Broil the Ribs

Increase the oven temperature to broil. Place the ribs back in the oven and broil for 5-10 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

  8. 8

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before cutting. Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
