Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic cloves.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Brown the Meat

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Tomatoes and Simmer

Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Cook the Spaghetti

In a separate pot, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top.
