Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground Wagyu beef, minced garlic, egg, bread crumbs, grated Parmigiano Reggiano, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the canned San Marzano tomatoes. Crush them with a spoon and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Return the meatballs to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 6
Serve
Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley and grated Parmigiano Reggiano if desired.
