1. Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken thighs and mix until well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
2. Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet or grill pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
3. Prepare Gochujang Butter
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of gochujang and mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and more gochujang to taste.
4. Serve
Slice the cooked chicken and serve on a platter. Drizzle with gochujang butter, and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
