Prepare the Edamame
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the edamame pods and cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Flavor
Stir in the soy sauce and red chili flakes, mixing well to combine.

Toss the Edamame
Add the cooked edamame pods to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Remove from heat, adjust salt to taste, and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm.
