Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, finely shredded cabbage, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 2
Assemble the Dumplings
Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the chicken filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and press to seal. You can also pinch the edges to create pleats for a decorative touch. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Cook the Dumplings
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop in the dumplings and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top and are cooked through. Alternatively, you can steam the dumplings for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Serve
Remove the dumplings from the pot and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
